Foxglove Games lifted ARPDAU 24% by consolidating to one SDK
SDK migration · 1 title, 2.4M MAU · 30-day result
The starting point
Foxglove Games runs a narrative puzzle title with 2.4M monthly players. Monetization was spread across four SDKs — two ad networks, a mediation layer, and a separate attribution provider. Revenue reporting meant opening four dashboards and hoping they agreed.
The migration
Foxglove replaced all four with the BidRole SDK, which bundles mediation, in-app bidding, and attribution in one integration. The engineering work took an afternoon: swap the dependencies, move ad-unit IDs into the BidRole console, and ship a build.
The BidRole demand and 20+ external networks now bid on every impression in a single server-side auction, replacing the old network-by-network waterfall.
The 30-day result
- ARPDAU up 24%, driven mostly by running one real auction instead of a sequence of them
- Cold start 0.7s faster with less native code to initialize
- One dashboard for revenue, fill, and attribution, with NET-30 payments
- No measurable change to retention — ad-quality controls kept frequency and creative standards intact
"We replaced four SDKs with one and ARPDAU went up 24% in the first month." — Priya Nair, Co-founder, Foxglove Games
Foxglove has since enabled BidRole managed user acquisition for the same title.
